Asquith Football Club (“Asquith FC”) recognises that circumstances may change after a player has registered. This Registration Refund Policy applies to all player registrations and forms part of the conditions of registration.
Registration fees consist of a Club fee component payable to Asquith FC and fees payable to Football Australia, Football NSW and the Northern Suburbs Football Association (NSFA) (collectively referred to as the affiliated governing bodies).
1. Deregistration Prior to 31 March
Where a written request to deregister a player is received by Asquith FC prior to midnight on 31 March, the registrant will be eligible for a refund of the Asquith FC Club fee component, less a $50 administration fee.
2. Deregistration After 31 March
Deregistration requests received after 31 March may result in full forfeiture of the Asquith FC Club fee component. Any refund granted after this date will be at the discretion of Asquith FC and is not guaranteed.
3. Affiliated Governing Body Fees
Refunds of fees payable to the affiliated governing bodies are subject to the policies and approval of those bodies. Asquith FC does not control these fees and cannot guarantee any refund of these components.
4. Method of Deregistration Request and Approval
All deregistration and refund requests must be submitted through the PlayFootball registration system and in writing by email to registrar@asquithsc.org.au.
All deregistration and refund requests require approval by two committee members.
Approved deregistrations will be processed through both the PlayFootball system and Majestri. The effective date of deregistration will be the date the written request is received by the Club.
5. Medical or Injury-Related Deregistration and Insurance
Refunds due to injury or medical reasons are not automatic. Supporting medical documentation may be required, and any refund granted will be at the discretion of Asquith FC.
Members should note that deregistration will cancel insurance coverage provided through Football Australia in relation to injuries sustained during authorised and approved football activities from the effective date of deregistration.
6. Disciplinary Deregistration
No refund will be provided where a player is suspended, deregistered, or withdrawn as a result of disciplinary action or a breach of the Club’s Code of Conduct or applicable competition rules.
7. Change of Circumstances or Availability
Refunds are not guaranteed where a player withdraws due to a change of personal circumstances, availability, or preference.
8. Non-Transferability and Active Kids Vouchers
Registration fees are not transferable to another player, season, or club.
Active Kids Vouchers are non-refundable. In the event of an approved deregistration, an Active Kids Voucher may only be transferred to another approved Active Kids Voucher provider, in accordance with the relevant program guidelines.
9. Exceptional Circumstances
Asquith FC reserves the right to consider refunds outside this policy in exceptional circumstances, at its absolute discretion.
10. Policy Acceptance
By submitting a registration through the PlayFootball and Majestri systems, registrants acknowledge and accept this Registration Refund Policy and all related conditions.
